A random tuesday @ Madison

After the crazy weekend we had after finals, it was time to relax so we planned a visit to the state of Wisconsin's capital: Madison.

There we went with little Maggie, taking a bus to the city while drinking a coffee and eating some delicious donuts we bought on our way to the station...

It took us almost 2 hours to get there due to the stops the bus had to make, but it was worth it as our destination was a really nice and cozy little city full of life. We drop off at the Wisconsin University Campus where some friends were picking us up to have lunch at "Mediterranean Cafe", a small ethnic restaurant where we had a delicious arab dish. Afterwards, Lauren (better known as the girl that could climb a vertical wall) and her friend Crissie showed us around, going up the main boulevard to the Capitol Building.

We ended our little walk back in campus, where we seated on a terrace next to the lake eating some ice-cream made in the university itself. We kept on walking through the lake-side, enjoying the sunny weather and the amazing sights.

We ended the day at Lauren's new apartment and drove back to GV (home... but not for much longer) tired but grateful of the wonderful day we just had.

Thank you girls for making yesterday's day such an incredible day!!

Let's enjoy the rest of the week,,

xoxo ;)
